Always let the wax melt all the way to the glass. Especially the first time, leaving the wick enough time to create a complete wax pool is essential for a perfect burn-out of the candle. Saving your candle with short burnings cause wax residuals on the glass and formation of a “tunnel”.
TAKE YOUR TIME
TRIM THE WICK TO 6MM
LUMINIA natural wax burns clean. When more wick than wax is being burned, the flame becomes too big and smoke appears. This is because the wick is made from pure cotton and cotton smokes on fire. To avoid smoke, always trim the wick to 6mm before lighting, keep the candleaway from draft and the wax pool clean.
PROLONG YOUR CANDLE’S LIFE
To achieve a longer burning time extinguish the candle when the wax pool reaches the glass. Let the wax solidify and relight after again. The deeper the wax pool the faster the wax burns. If you wish to keep your candle lit longer, trim the wick to 6mm with wick trimmer or scissors while lit. Make sure the wick trimmings do not fall into the wax pool. The flame gets smaller and the candle will last up to 3 times longer. The bigger the flame, the shorter the overall burning time.
To avoid blasting of the crystal glas do not leave the candle lit for more than 3 hours without trimming the wick, never burn the last 2 centimetres of wax, and do not let the flame touch the glass. Place the candle on a heat resistant surface, far from flammables, away from kids and pets. Never leave a burning candle alone.
